The following software is required to playback a videopresentation on a computer:

  • Windows 98 or later, preferably XP.
  • Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or later. Windows Media Player 9 Series (or later) is recommended to optimize presentation playback.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later), preferably 6.0

Troubleshooting

A. The videopresentation as a whole does not start up

1. Make sure that you have Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Start up Internet Explorer, go to Help, Info and read the version. If you need an update of Internet Explorer, Update by clicking here for Internet Explorer 6.0
2. Make sure that you have Powerpoint installed, preferably XP (2002) or 2003. If you do not have Powerpoint (2002 or 2003), install the viewer (msorun.exe) for Powerpoint 2003 by clicking here and install the Add-in for Powerpoint on your computer


B. The videopresentation does start up, but I don't see a video

1. Make sure that video is played. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet options, Advanced and tick the box "Play videos".
2. Make sure that Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher is installed, preferably 9.0. Start up your Windows Media Player, go to Help, Info and look at the version. If less than 7.0, update Windows Media Player to version 9.0. Choose the update for your Windows version 98, 2000, ME) or for Windows XP and install.


C. The videopresentation does start up, but I don't hear the voice

1. Make sure that audio is played. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet options, Advanced and tick the box "Play sounds".
2. Have boxes and an audiocard installed.
